For months now, I have some entries with the tag "Favorita" are compilations of the same part in several performances.
This time the selection is relevant because it is the first piece that I remember as my favorite.
label 78 rpm disc corresponds to the collection of my father and it is this version that I first met logically.
Actually I was a toddler when he was singing (alone as always) and not that he was a precocious child in love early, but the letter said that somehow things are suited to my situation and personality.
The song is very old, was composed by Maria Grever, who many years later became one of my favorite composers. Today is almost unknown, a hard time finding versions with recent recordings, but the shows will include some not so old as the song itself.
However, in this case more than music, is the letter that made him be in my collection.
A rare version is the one that says it's Juan Torres with his Body melodic, I really do not remember having heard him sing to Juan Torres, and I know that is your voice, but apparently it is.
As usual, I hope you enjoy it and find it interesting selection.
Alma Mía.
Music and lyrics by Maria Grever. Alma mia
one always alone and no one understands your pain
pretending you have horrible existence
always full of joy and pleasure, of joy and pleasure
If I find a soul like mine
few things
secret she would tell a soul at me without saying anything
tell me what all to look
A gentle soul who get drunk and kiss breath
feel what I feel and I sometimes wonder
would happen if I find a soul like mine
and sometimes I wonder what would happen
if I find a soul like mine. ____
