few days ago I found a software program, which has a filter to remove noise from sound files and had not used (or rather if you try it before, but did not understand the operation) . the Waltz is played by the Green Club "Banda Gascón Flamenca." This disc is on the other side doing "Lindas Mexicanas" I use the theme of the blog.
I imagine that the disc is a reissue, and discs that originally had only one side and I have no way of knowing if both recordings are contemporary or not, but it is very likely true.
Green Club is not one of my favorite pieces, but it is a waltz that is often heard, especially when toddler, next to my maternal grandmother. I came across another version on 78rpm disc, now the collection of my father, who says it's Marimba Abel Dominguez, I imagine in other times is the same as the Lira de San Cristobal (also included in the file.)
About the waltz and the author I knew nothing, I found this page: CLUB GREEN CAMPODÓNICO also include a Word file with its content.
Me "steal" the page to the Word because I have noticed that often the links are "broken" because the pages are very ephemeral. Ah what is said is very large, worth a full read at least once, well then I "steal" the soundtrack to banda "military" that is very pleasing to the ear (said to be the "Banda de Música the State of Sonora ").
From what I found on my hard drive (my file) I will share with other versions, I have probably more in the LP I have not scanned.
One last comment, being a recording more than century-old, who danced the waltz certainly are no longer with us, my hope is that some of our fans have personal memories to hear it again.
Note: the file versions are WAV (uncompressed) recording centuries, both without a filter, as the end result, know that he had only been hit hard in an acoustic phonograph with needle steel; the grooves are so badly damaged, demo tracks in this post MP3 copies of both versions, made for easy listening on the Internet.
